Damian Lyons Lowe – CEO

Damian has previously worked for 12 years in marketing sector specialist research at Cowen & Company (Healthcare, Technology and Consumer specialists), Jefferies (specialising in Aerospace & Defense, Business Services, Consumer Energy, Financial Services, Gaming & Leisure, Healthcare, Industrials, Maritime, Media, Real Estate & Lodging, Technology and Telecommunications) and Thomas Weisel Partners (Technology, Healthcare and Consumer). Thomas Weisel are now part of Stifel Financial.  Damian is a strategic advisor to political parties and membership organisations.  Damian’s media requests should be directed to media@survation.com

Ros Baston – Independent Political and Election Law Expert  

Ros Baston is an independent political and election law expert and director of Baston Legal Ltd. She was previously lead adviser on political regulation at the Electoral Commission and was the single point of contact at the Commission for the Yes and No campaigns at the 2011 AV referendum.

Stuart Jackaman – Head of Statistics  CFA CAIA - After graduating with a degree in Mathematics from Pembroke College Oxford University in 1996, Stuart gained over ten years experience in the city before moving into financial markets training with BPP in 2007. Stuart worked primarily in the fund management industry for Close Investments with a focus on portfolio management and equity trading, and also has experience in hedge funds, derivatives and fixed income investment. Stuart teaches towards the SII certificates in Regulations, Securities and Derivatives, all three levels of the CFA® Program, both levels of CAIA, the IMC and a wide range of financial product courses.  Stuart also teaches masters level courses in statistics.

Mark Lovelace – Lead Statistician

Mark has 8 years recent experience analyzing satisfaction surveys using SPSS, 3 years experience as a performance analyst and 6 years experience as a statistician and has worked on most recent Survation projects.

Pamela Varley – Statistician

Pamela  holds a BSocSc (Social Science) from University College Dublin and an MSc in Social Research Methods from the London School of Economics and Political Science.  She has engaged with a number of large research organisations and NGOs throughout her career. Her research interests include telecommunications (esp. broadband), genetics and population health. Pamela is a member of the Market Research Society.

Chris Terry – Political Consultant

Chris Terry has been interested in politics since being a teenager. After graduating in International Relations with Politics he went on to do a Masters in Social Research. Chris’s prime political interest is in political parties in democratic countries, particularly in Europe. Chris has a particular interest in the various stances adopted by political parties, their strategies for winning elections and the relationship between political parties.

Tom Jones – Healthcare practice consultant / Veterinary

Tom Jones is a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, having received his Batchelor of Veterinary Medicine (with Honours) from the University of London (Royal Veterinary College) in 1997. He has 9 years business experience providing investment advice to institutional fund management companies on a range of healthcare investments. Tom’s time as a veterinary surgeon was spent predominately in equine practice.

Kevin Conroy – Consultant

Since graduating with distinction from University College London, Kevin has specialised in statistical analysis and research in complex conflict environments. He has worked on strategic communication projects in Afghanistan and produced survey data from the complex social and political situation in Kandahar. He was part of a quantitative conflict mapping project at UCL, and most recently part of the intelligence gathering team at a risk management firm in London. His work has been published in Terrorism Tracker and various newspapers and blogs.

Patrick Briône – Research Consultant

Patrick Briône has had a long interest in politics and current affairs. Since graduating from the University of Oxford with a degree in Philosophy Politics and Economics he has worked with the independent think-tank CentreForum conducting policy research. He co-authored two published policy papers with CentreForum, on ‘Employee empowerment’ and ‘Employee ownership’. His political interests include different studying the effects of different electoral systems and how media reporting impacts on public voting trends.

Charlotte Jee – Political Researcher

Charlotte studied Politics and East European Studies at University College London, specialising in Russian foreign policy, but she maintains a keen interest in politics in the UK, the US and beyond. Charlotte started her career as an intern for InHouse Communications, who ran Boris Johnson’s original mayoral campaign, and has since worked at polling companies YouGov and Populus. Prior to taking up the role at Survation, she worked as a newswire writer specialising in reporting on pharmaceuticals. Charlotte is currently completing an MA in Political Journalism at City University.
