Survation has extensively worked in partnership with 38 Degrees since the start of 2016, conducting polls in Scotland and the whole of the UK. We have conducted research on a variety of topics to provide 38 Degrees with robust findings to support their campaigns, including taxing gambling companies, cost of living crisis, and renters’ rights. Survation has used a range of methodologies to provide 38 Degrees with actionable insight, from quantitative polling to MRP analysis.

Previous work

14th October 2025 – Survation conducted an online poll of 8,546 residents aged 18+ in the United Kingdom on behalf of 38Degrees to conduct a segmentation analysis of the electorate. Fieldwork was conducted between 21st August-1st September 2025. Tables are available here.

11th September 2025 – Survation conducted an online poll of 8,546 residents aged 18+ in the United Kingdom on behalf of 38Degrees on their views on taxing gambling companies to reduce child poverty. Fieldwork was conducted between 21st August – 1st September 2025. Tables are available here.

23rd June 2024 – Survation conducted a telephone poll of 502 adults aged 18+ living in the Holborn and St Pancras constituency on behalf of 38 Degrees. Fieldwork was conducted between 19th – 21st June 2024. Tables are available here. 

23rd June 2024 – Survation conducted a telephone poll of 507 adults aged 18+ living in the Richmond and Northallerton constituency on behalf of 38 Degrees. Fieldwork was conducted between 12th – 21st June 2024. Tables are available here. 

15th April 2024 – Survation conducted an online poll of 2,009 private renters and 1,180 members of the general population aged 18+ living in England on behalf of 38 Degrees. Fieldwork was conducted between 5th – 10th April 2024. Tables are available here and here.

4th March 2024 – Survation conducted a telephone and online poll of 507 adults aged 18+ in the new constituency of Godalming and Ash on behalf of 38 Degrees. Fieldwork was conducted between 16th – 20th February 2024. Tables are available here.

10th October 2023 – Survation conducted an MRP analysis of 11,793 adults in the Great Britain on their voting intentions and 10,334 adults on topical issues on behalf of 38 Degrees. Fieldwork was conducted between 11th September – 25th September 2023. 23rd May 2023  Survation conducted an online poll of 1,010 Adults aged 18+ in the UK on behalf of 38 Degrees. Fieldwork was conducted between 12th – 15th May 2023. Tables are available here.

27th March 2023 – Survation conducted an online poll of 1,019 adults aged 18+ in the UK on their reaction to Boris Johnson’s appearance before the Privileges Committee on behalf of 38 Degrees. Fieldwork was conducted on 23rd March 2023. Tables are available here.

28th February 2023 – Survation conducted an online poll of 1,169 adults aged 18+ in the 100 most deprived constituencies, and 1,049 adults aged 18+ in the 100 least deprived constituencies on behalf of 38 Degrees. 24th February 2023 – Survation conducted an MRP analysis of 6434 adults in the Great Britain on voting intentions and cost of living issues, on behalf of 38 Degrees. Fieldwork was conducted between 10th – 17th February 2023. Summary tables are available here, here and here.

18th October 2022 – Survation conducted an MRP analysis of 6012 adults in the UK on their voting intentions, on behalf of 38 Degrees. Fieldwork was conducted between 30th September and 4 October 2022. Summary tables are available for selected mayoral areas (Greater Manchester, South Yorkshire, West Midlands County, and West Yorkshire), Wales, and the North East.

18th October 2022 – Survation conducted an MRP analysis of 6,012 adults in the UK on cost of living issues, on behalf of 38 Degrees. Fieldwork was conducted between 30th September and 4 October 2022. Summary tables are available here.

7th July 2022 – Survation conducted an online poll of 10,079 people aged 18+ living in Great Britain on their experience of accessing healthcare on the NHS on behalf of 38 Degrees. Fieldwork was conducted between the 8th and 21st of June 2022. Tables are available here. An MRP was conducted on the access to primary care questions. 28th March 2017 – On behalf of 38 Degrees, Survation conducted a telephone poll of 507 adults aged 18+ in Tatton about their attitudes towards their MP, George Osborne, since he took on the editorship of the London Evening Standard.
