We Own It Test and Trace Survey September 2020
3 in 4 people in the UK think local public health services should conduct COVID-19 contact tracing while only 14% would prefer to outsource to the private sector, according to a new Survation national survey on behalf of We Own It.
4 in 5 of those polled – 78% – believed that the NHS and public health protection teams should receive the money for the logistics of a mass testing programme; compared to 11% who would prefer the government to choose private companies like G4S and Serco, while 11% were unsure.
Survation conducted an online poll of 1,003 adults living in the UK. Fieldwork was conducted between 15th and 16th September 2020. Data tables are available here.
